Biography
My coach in life believes I have an “innate desire to change within yourself and for others.” This drive to constantly learn is where my love for practice is grounded in. Since little, I have been astonished by the biomechanics and physics behind swing mechanics carefully explained by Coach Lee. I always find great pride and joy in dialing in my mechanics, but soon saw greater value in short-game. Starting freshman year, I promised to practice an hour more of short-game than range everyday, yielding visible results.I love that college golf offers a team experience like high school golf, because I find extra fulfillment in helping my teammates. Through abundant communication with Coach Degen, we’ve rebuilded our program each year even when players seemed to fall apart. Especially for this individual sport, I believe team culture does influence team performance, and ultimately betters everyone as people.Playing Experience
